HAI@Work: Mil2Civ: Preparing for a Civilian Pilot Career
If you’ve considered a career as a civilian helicopter pilot after your military service, there is a lot you can do now in preparation, regardless of whether you currently fly aircraft while in uniform or if you are interested in training for that career after discharge.

To help members of our military prepare now for their future as civilian pilots, HAI is hosting a panel of experts dedicated to helping servicemembers transition from the military to civilian careers. These professionals, each former military personnel themselves, will help you explore your career options, highlight how your current military training and experience can count toward transitioning to civilian licenses, share educational options, and highlight how the G.I. Bill can help you fill in any gaps.

Join us Thursday, Oct. 13, at 4 pm eastern (UTC-4) for a special 90-minute HAI@Work webinar just for military personnel, featuring education, career, and preplanning expertise to help you prepare now for the next step of your career. There will be ample time for the panel to answer as many attendee questions as possible.

We know our dedicated service men and women work 24/7 around the world. If you can’t make the live webinar, please send in your questions in advance so we can be sure the panel answers them. The webinar will be posted afterward for you to view at your convenience. Please send questions to dan.sweet@rotor.org.
